Now, there is OmnivoBase with a "state of the art application server" on HP-NonStop Server available.
With JBoss AS 5 (JEE5), you can use the possiblities of the newest JEE Specification. Because of this specification the use of application servers grows again and can be proofed by some statistics.

OmnivoBase can now be used with the following middleware container on HP-NonStop:

• NSJSP,  a deep port of the OpenSource Tomcat (Company HP).
• Tomcat, the OpenSource Solution
• Oracle WebLogic 9.2 (J2EE Specification 1.4)
• JBoss AS 5 (JEE Specification 5)

OmnivoBase can also be used on every hardware platform, which provides Java and one of the listed middleware container.
