Since 1997 CommitWork provides individually developed software for named corporations on high availability systems mainly the HP NonStop family servers (formerly Tandem).
Some of our employees have developed skills on HP NonStop for more than 20 years, starting already with TNS/I in the late 70s, providing a very thorough knowledge base for these systems.

All CommitWork employees do have additional skills in certain application areas like for instance logistics, production planning or MRP.

Since 1999 in terms of software development we already bet on Java besides COBOL for developing new software on the HP NonStop platform. With Java we are also very experienced on Unix and Linux platforms.

Our hardware equipment is currently consisting of:

  • S7600 HP-NonStop (operating system Guardian and the Unix interface OSS)
  • Sun Workstation with Solaris
  • PCs with Windows and Linux

enables us to make use of the latest operating system- and other software releases in order to gain experiences in an early stage for providing this knowledge to our clients.
